Why did the We Will Rock You campaign start?
It’s generally known that there are big bucks behind the neo-Nazi scene. Big money financing not just neo-Nazi public activities but also lawyers for racist bullies and murderers, web pages operation, propaganda materials or guns, are coming from somewhere. Key part of this are stores with music and clothes very popular between neo-Nazis.
Today, we can speak about big neo-Nazi business. Trend from past few years’ shows that neo-Nazis themselves are starting companies and brands, using publically unknown conspiracy codes whilst trying to look apolitical in the same time. In the same time, the fashion of neo-Nazi movement is changing and Nazis in heavy boots and military jackets are rareness. Trend is moving towards down the line modern look and creating its own peculiar image. But even in modern clothes are Nazis not going to give up their ideology. A lot of new brands owned by neo-Nazis are perfect example of this fact. And that is one of missions We Will Rock You, to help you recognize these changes.
How to join?
Inform others
Public knowledge of *neo*-Nazi brands is not very large. We don’t want to get to the stage, where neo-Nazi clothes will be sold to people, who have no idea about supporting neo-Nazis, and don’t want to contribute to their activities. Therefore, inform people from your surroundings as well as your friends, school-mates, colleagues and such.
Boycott shops and appeal to others to boycott
The fact that you know about a shop owned by Nazis, or you know that they are selling Nazi clothes, doesn’t mean that others know as well. It is really important to inform your friends, schoolmates and colleagues about where not to buy even a button.
Organize a demonstration or blockade
In Germany or elsewhere, is normal to organize demonstrations and other happenings as a part of We Will Rock You, which are pointing at places where Nazis are gathering and where you can get their clothes.
Stick posters and flyers
Download, print, stick antifascist materials on streets or directly on NS shops.
